Creami Frozen YogurtThe protein smoothie flavor compendium
Creamy Greek yogurt, whole fruit, and five ounces of any Chobani High Protein drink become a frozen breakfast or a smaller scoop for dessert. The compendium pairs every current drink flavor and bottle size with 120 fruit combinations, with Matty’s cherry favorites first.

Use the same five ounces of protein drink with every bottle size. That keeps the frozen texture predictable while the drink flavor changes the personality of the batch.

Make it
Wash and prepare the fruit, removing any pits, stems, or peels as needed. Let frozen fruit soften enough to blend. For apple variations, cook the diced apple until tender without adding sugar, then cool completely.
Measure 5 fluid ounces of the chosen protein yogurt drink. Blend it with the prepared fruit until smooth. Then blend in the exact measured flavor addition listed for your chosen combination. This fruit-and-drink mixture is what you will swirl through the yogurt before freezing; do not add these flavorings after spinning. Every measurement is for the entire recipe: 32 ounces of yogurt, 5 ounces of drink, and all of the fruit—not for one serving or one Creami tub. Almond and coconut extracts are intentionally measured a little lower than the other flavorings because they are strong.
Ninja Creami step — full recipe: divide the 32-ounce tub of plain Greek yogurt among multiple compatible Ninja Creami Deluxe containers. Divide the blended fruit mixture among those same containers, keeping every container at or below its MAX FILL line.
Ninja Creami step: use a spoon or butter knife to hand-swirl the red fruit mixture through the white yogurt in each container. Leave visible ribbons instead of stirring until the mixture is uniformly pink.
Ninja Creami step: cover the Creami tubs and freeze them on a level surface for at least 24 hours, following the machine’s instructions. The frozen surface should be level before processing.
Ninja Creami step: place one fully frozen tub in the outer bowl and process on the Frozen Yogurt setting. If the result is powdery or crumbly, use Re-spin. If needed, add a small splash of the matching protein drink before re-spinning, staying below the fill line.
Serve about one third of the batch for breakfast, or a smaller one-sixth portion for dessert. A full container is not automatically one serving.
Matty's note
Cherry Berry and Cherry Vanilla are Matty’s picks. Vanilla, citrus zest, cinnamon, cocoa, and a little almond or coconut extract build distinct flavors without honey or syrup. Fruit sweetness and texture will vary by season.
Extra-fruity single tub
One Creami Deluxe container
Want just one tub? Start with 16 ounces of plain Greek yogurt. Then use as much of your blended protein-smoothie-and-fruit mixture as needed to reach—but never cross—the MAX FILL line. This makes the single tub more fruit-forward while keeping the full recipe available for meal prep.
Start with yogurt. Spoon 16 ounces of plain Greek yogurt into one compatible Ninja Creami Deluxe container.
Fill with fruit mixture. Blend your selected fruit combination with the protein smoothie and its measured flavor addition. Slowly pour the blended mixture over the yogurt only until the container reaches MAX FILL; reserve any extra mixture for another tub or a smoothie.
Hand swirl, then freeze. Use a spoon or butter knife to leave visible fruit ribbons through the yogurt. Cover, freeze level for at least 24 hours, then process on Frozen Yogurt.
Choose your bottle
One five-ounce formula
Bottle size changes the available flavors, but not the recipe ratio. Measure 5 fluid ounces of any Chobani High Protein drink for one 32-ounce yogurt batch.
Use 5 fluid ounces; one bottle supplies two batches with 4 fluid ounces left.
Flavor availability varies by store and can change. This guide reflects the U.S. lineup checked in September 2026. Check Chobani's current drink lineup.
The compendium
10 drinks, 120 frozen-yogurt ideas
Choose your drink, then use one complete fruit combination. Each of the 10 distinct smoothie flavors has 12 pairings. Blend the measured flavor addition into the fruit-and-drink mixture, then swirl that mixture through the yogurt before freezing. Every measurement is for the entire recipe—32 ounces of yogurt, 5 ounces of drink, and all of the fruit—not one serving or one Creami tub. The two cherry chapters are open first because they are Matty's favorites.

The named combinations cover more than 30 kinds of fruit, but the formula is open-ended. Start with five cups of prepared fruit: 2½ to 3 cups of a star fruit, 1½ to 2 cups of a berry for body and fiber, and ½ to 1 cup of an accent fruit.
Very juicy fruit: Keep melon, grapes, and citrus segments to about 1½ cups, then use berries for the remaining volume so the result stays creamy.
Big flavor fruit: Use one banana or up to ½ cup passion-fruit pulp in a full batch.
Firm or tart fruit: Cook apple and rhubarb until tender without sugar, then cool completely before blending.
Plant-based breakfast
Yes, the base can be vegan
For a fully vegan batch, replace both dairy ingredients: use 32 ounces of thick, unsweetened, high-protein plant-based Greek-style yogurt and 5 fluid ounces of a vegan protein shake. Keep the fruit and the rest of the method the same.
Easiest full batch
Kite Hill Plain Unsweetened Greek-Style
Use two 16-ounce tubs. It is thick, has 17g protein per serving, and swaps 1:1 for the dairy yogurt. It contains almonds and soy.
For one 24-ounce tub, make a three-quarter batch: 24 ounces yogurt, 3¾ fluid ounces protein shake, and about 3¾ cups fruit. It contains cashews and coconut.
Forager's 12-ounce plant protein shakes work with the same five-ounce rule. Unsweetened Coconut keeps added sugar at zero; Strawberry, Cinnamon Vanilla, Cocoa, and Coffee create more flavor paths. If the first spin is powdery, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of the same shake and Re-spin.
